Even from the outside, the house reveals a classic Mediterranean style component, which is reflected in many ways inside. A “classic” in Ticino, complemented by the use of wrought iron railings and lamps.
The design and materialization of the apartment are also classic, where the round arch form also dominates in different variations. The covered terrace offers a view of the green mountain landscapes that frame Ascona and the lake. The layout and size, as well as the short walking distance to the village center and the piazza, make this an ideal vacation residence.
A bright living zoone with a sitting area offers a cozy atmosphere even on cooler days, thanks to its fireplace. The directly adjoining kitchen has all the necessary appliances and plenty of storage space. Due to its arrangement, an opening to the living area would also be conceivable. The large, covered terrace, in a Mediterranean setting, along the entire living area, offers excellent design options with seating and lounge furniture. In summer, this creates a perfect extension of the living area to the outside.
Two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, complete the very good layout of the apartment. The daylight bathroom has a bathtub and shower, while the second bathroom only has a shower.
The materials used in the apartment are discreet and the flooring in the entrance, living area and kitchen is white-grey marble, while the bedrooms have light, warm-looking parquet flooring. All walls are finished with white plaster, providing a good template for personal design and furnishing. The round shape of all the wooden doors, follows the shape that already dominates the exterior façade of the house with its round arches.
