Built in 1835, Villa Bühler is one of the most significant historic residences in the Tösstal valley. As the former factory owner’s villa of the Bühler family of entrepreneurs, it is part of the historically protected industrial complex of the former Kollbrunn spinning mill and stands as an impressive testament to early industrialization. Over the course of several years, the villa was meticulously restored in close collaboration with the cantonal historic preservation office and based on restoration studies. Valuable original structural elements were preserved, and missing parts were reconstructed according to historical models. The goal of the work was to preserve the architectural character, the quality of craftsmanship, and the historical identity of the house for the long term. Today, the villa combines its historical charm with contemporary living comfort. Spacious rooms, authentic materials, and numerous preserved original details lend the apartments a special atmosphere and an unmistakable character.
