Ronco sopra Ascona is considered one of the most sought-after residential and holiday resorts in Ticino. Only five minutes by car from Ascona and 15 minutes from the Italian border, this picturesque village is an ideal starting point for all those who enjoy hiking, golfing and sailing, swimming, love art and culture, but at the same time appreciate retreat, peace and nature.
The property is located on the valley side of Via Gottardo Madonna, a residential street closed to through traffic. The old village centre and the restaurants are only a few steps away. The shrub and tree population of the property, which has grown over decades, provides a lot of privacy and southern flair. At the lower end, the plot borders on forest.
The two-storey residential house “Casa Venascha” was the first house to be built outside Ronco sopra Ascona’s village centre.
